The Midland Area Community Scholarship application process will open on February 1, 2010.  Until then, all scholarships listed are TENTATIVE until February 1, 2010.    Users may register with the egrant site but no applications will be accepted until February 1, 2010.  Please call 989-839-9661 with any questions

To apply for a scholarship:

1.  Review the Requirements to make sure you qualify.

2.  Search Scholarships and select up to five you'd like to apply for (you can be awarded up to two). Make note of the scholarships you will apply for and any special essay requirements

3.  Order official transcripts.  Official Transcripts must come from the educational institution, not the applicant. These transcripts must be received at the Foundation (76 Ashman Circle, Midland, MI 48640)  by March 5, 2010

4.  Select two references and ask them to return the official Reference Form to the Foundation (76 Ashman Circle, Midland, MI 48640) by March 5, 2010. (References must return the forms via mail or in-person or via email if the sender is the person who filled our the form. They will not be accepted from the applicant.)

5.  Write essays for selected scholarships (up to 400 words) - save on your computer.

6.  Select the "Apply Now" link on the Requirements page and enter egrant to apply.  You will be asked to create an account and will step through the application process. You will be asked to copy and paste your essays into the application.

The following materials must be received by 5:00 p.m. on March 5, 2010.

  • Official Transcripts
  • 2 Reference forms
  • electronic egrant application (including essays)
