CCCF Project Funds

Project Funds are by definition non-endowed funds that are expected to be short-lived. They provide a mechanism for groups or organizations to raise money which will then be spent for the project itself--a building, a playground, etc.

A non-endowed fund is 100% spendable, and is most often established to support a short-term project. While gifts to non-endowed funds qualify for a federal income tax deduction, they do not qualify for the Michigan Community Foundation Tax Credit.

Clare County Safe Schools and Communities Fund -- Supports School Resource Officers in Clare County area schools and/or Community Policing Officers for the Clare County community. DONATE!

Logan's Run Project Fund -- Provides for the design, development and construction of a safe, non-motorized pathway along East Townline Lake around the north end of Budd Lake. It is understood and expected that at some point, when construction of the trail is complete, this fund may be converted into an endowment fund to support maintenance, enhancements and amenities for this same trail. DONATE!

PMRT Gateway Link Fund -- Assists with the expenses of designing, developing and constructing a linear park on the Pere-Marquette Railroad bed from Coleman through Isabella County to the west city limits of Clare. If monies remain in the fund upon the completion of the linear park, it is intended that the fund be converted into a designated endowment, the purpose of which will be the upkeep and maintenance of the park.
