Role with the Foundation

David supports the mission and vision of the Foundation. He is responsible for managing and leading the financial aspects of the Foundation to ensure the Foundation’s ability to provide programs that are beneficial to the community. Oversees all financial services including accounting, financial planning and budgeting; monitoring of investment and custody services; development of financial, computer and administrative systems; and employee benefits administration; and maintaining the general operations of the Foundation. David performs as a key member of the executive team.

Information of Interest

In June 2007, David came to the Midland Area Community Foundation as the Director of Finance. He had spent the last 12 years in Grand Rapids, MI in the financial & accounting industry. David attended Central Michigan University where he obtained his Bachelors Degree in Accounting. Returning to Midland, the town he grew up in, and being involved in the community was very important to him. In his spare time, David enjoys golfing, fishing and traveling with his family.
