The Midland Area Community Scholarship application process will open on February 1, 2010. Until then, all scholarships listed are TENTATIVE until February 1, 2010.
Users may register with the egrant site but no applications will be

General Scholarship Information
The Midland Area Community Foundation offers a number of scholarships on an annual basis. Financial assistance is available for individuals who are currently high school seniors or college students, as well as for adults who are resuming undergraduate study or who are retraining to enter the job market.
2010 Scholarship season will be from February 1, 2010 until 5:00p.m. on March 5, 2010. At 5:00 p.m.,March 5, 2010 the system automatically shuts down regardless of a user's status. Applications must be COMPLETE by 5:00 p.m., March 5, 2010
All available scholarships will be posted to our website on Feb. 1, 2010. Before Feb. 1, 2010, scholarships may be listed which are not available. The final list of available scholarships will be posted February 1, 2010.

NOTE: Clare County residents may qualify to apply for scholarships offered through the Clare County Community Foundation. Information and deadlines regarding Clare County Community Foundation Scholarships are different. For more information visit CCCF Scholarships.
To Apply for a Scholarship:
1. Review the scholarships from the links below to determine which scholarships you qualify for and are interested in applying for.
2. Collect all materials necessary (see guidelines) prior to applying
3. Apply through the APPLY NOW link (active on Feb. 2) Applications will not be considered unless all materials are submitted
Scholarships Handled Elsewhere/ Camperships and Academy Programs
The Midland Area Community Foundation also holds the funds for a number of scholarships and campership/academy programs that are handled elsewhere. The application and selection process for these scholarships/camperships/academy programs vary.
