Midland County Fair Entrances
Integrating environmental features into the infrastructure of a community creates a more pleasant place to live, work, and enjoy leisure time. Bringing this green approach to the planning and management of Midland’s growth also provides economic value. When trees and other natural features are part of the planning process, everyone wins. It is good for business, good for the environment and good for the community.
This concept has been incorporated into a project to improve two of the entranceways into the Midland County Fairgrounds. The Midland County Fair Board collaborated with the Entranceways Initiative Task Force to create a design plan which included paving and curbing of new boulevards, landscaping and irrigation, earthmoving and signage.
These entranceways, both off of Eastman Road, will help to anchor the work of the Entranceways Initiative Task Force on the north end of this corridor.
