Role within the Foundation

Lynn is responsible for coordinating the efforts of the local area Youth Action Councils (YACs). She assists the YACs by providing guidance and coordinating their activities with the Midland Area Community Foundation as needed. Information of Interest

Lynn accepted the position of Midland Area Youth Action Council Coordinator at the Foundation in July of 2008. She and her husband Bart Heil moved back to Midland after working at Michigan Technological University. Previous to her position as Youth Program Coordinator at Michigan Tech., Lynn worked for 6 years as the Dow College Opportunity Program Director at West Midland Family Center.

Lynn enjoys hiking, biking, backpacking, reading and riding motorcycles in her free time and is excited about working with area youth to assist them as they work in our community.
