A Tradition Continues : Seniors to Enjoy Special Christmas Dinners

Senior DinnersFor many years, the Midland Area Community Foundation has teamed up with Senior Services (Midland County Council on Aging) to sponsor the annual Senior Christmas Dinners.  Some have made it a tradition to volunteer, while others have set aside the day each year to enjoy the festivities.  This year, approximately 1,200 dinners will be served on Dec. 8, 2010.

Area service club members will arrive at the various lunch venues on December 8 to serve lunch to the seniors.  The Midland Area Community Foundation would like to thank the following service clubs for giving their time: Kiwassee Kiwanis Club at the Coleman Senior Center, Midland Morning Rotary Club at the Mills Senior Center, Midland Noon Rotary Club at the Greendale Senior Center, Midland Kiwanis Club at the Sanford Senior Center, Lions Club at the Trailside Senior Center and Youth for Understanding, Rotary International Exchange Students and Zonta Club of Midland at the Midland Happy Diners.
