Tierney joins Midland Area Community Foundation

Ben Tierney has been hired as the Director of Communications for the Midland Area Community Foundation.  He will be responsible for managing communications, marketing and public relations projects for the community foundation.

“We are excited to welcome Ben to the organization,” said Craig McDonald, chair of the MACF board of trustees.  “His technical expertise and extensive experience with web-based marketing will be a great asset to our overall communication goals.  He is an excellent addition to the incredible team we have at the Community Foundation.”

Tierney is a native of Midland, graduating from H.H. Dow High School.  He earned a bachelor's degree in Marketing/Management from Northwood University.  His work experience includes website design and management, social media marketing, public relations and event coordinating.  Tierney comes to the community foundation from Dow Gardens where he worked as the rental coordinator and administrative assistant.
