The CCYAC is a unique program that helps teach Clare County youth from ages 12-21 how to be board members and help make their community a better place through grantmaking. The youth members review applications and award grants to local non-profit organizations, participate in community service projects, and learn leadership skills. Youth interested in joining are encouraged to contact the Clare Community Foundation. The Clare Community Foundation would also like to thank Mrs. Julie Reinke for her year of service as the volunteer coordinator for the group, and wish her well as she moves on to new endeavors. The Clare Community Foundation is accepting applications for a new adult volunteer who can coordinate the group, mentor the youth, meet with members monthly and chaperone service projects. The commitment is for approximately 5 hours a week. If interested, in Contact the Clare Community Foundation at 1-800-906-9661. | ||
