To make grants (the “Grants”) responsive to certain requests received by the Fund from residents of Midland County fitting the Charitable Class Requirements (as defined below). Historically, each individual requesting a Grant has submitted his or her request to the Midland Daily News. The Gerstacker Foundation, on behalf of the Fund and through a designated assistant or coordinator, has generally responded to each such request by providing (a) a grant of a certain monetary amount in connection with such request, or (b) an explanation to the requesting individual of why such request cannot be met. The Gerstacker Foundation hereby transfers the administration of the Fund to MACF, and MACF agrees to carry on the administration and activities of the Fund, all pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Agreement.
