To provide an annual scholarship award for students majoring or minoring in Spanish and/or French. Preference will be given to applicants who intend to teach Spanish and/or French at any level. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated financial need. Applicants should plan to use their language skills in their future careers, both in speaking and writing. Recipients may be eligible to receive the scholarship more than once.
