Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Endowment Fund #00301

To provide an annual scholarship to a high school senior who is a resident of Midland, Saginaw, or Bay County. Applicants must have a minimum 2.0 GPA, be accepted into a 2 or 4-year degree granting academic or vocational program, and must be able to demonstrate efforts to improve racial harmony/justice. The scholarship award will be announced and presented at the annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Luncheon Program. The scholarship recipient must be able/willing to do the traditional reading of one of Dr. King’s speeches at the Celebration Luncheon.
