To support residents in the Four Lakes Special Assessment District who have a clearly defined need for assistance and the property subject to the assessment is their primary residence. The fund is designed to manage the Lake Level Special Assessment cost, helping to preserve home ownership. Applications for assistance will be received, screened, and evaluated by Mid-Michigan Community Action Agency, a non-profit dedicated to serving low-income people, using agreed upon criteria developed in connection with Four Lakes Task Force.
