Grace Yu-Sheng Lo Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund #00537
Provides an annual scholarship award to a graduating senior from Midland High School and Dow High School who is pursuing a degree in science or engineering. A preference will be given to a female student.

Dr. Grace Lo was my aunt, and without her, I would not have been able to come to the U.S. (from Taiwan), attend the excellent Midland Public Schools (Eastlawn Elementary, Northeast Intermediate, and Midland High School), and go on to have a successful career in high tech. Public education and continued education at the undergraduate level and beyond have always been important to my aunt Grace, who received a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Michigan State University at a time when there were very few female graduate students in science and engineering. Aunt Grace always wanted to see more women in science and engineering; therefore, it is my hope that this endowment fund will encourage and help deserving young women to pursue their dreams in science and engineering.
