James E. Reif, MD Endowed Scholarship For Breast Health Fund #01190

To provide an annual scholarship award to support students interested in pursuing clinical careers related to breast health. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated financial need. Applicants must live, work, or go to school in the service area of the Physician Associates of MidMichigan Community Medical Foundation. The Physician Associates of MidMichigan Community Medical Foundation (PAMCMF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving access to health care and supporting initiatives that advance clinical care, education, and wellness in the Mid-Michigan region. Dr. James E. Reif was a beloved general surgeon who practiced in Midland for over three decades. Dr. Reif was instrumental in establishing what is now the Breast Health Program, and he served on the PAMCMF Board. Known for his integrity, compassion, and collaborative spirit, Dr. Reif devoted his life to patient care and community service. This scholarship honors his enduring commitment to breast health and his legacy of doing the right thing—for his patients, his colleagues, and the community he loved.
