Jan LaCroix Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund #00468
To provide an annual scholarship award to a Bullock Creek High School graduating senior. The successful applicant will be a person of compassion, concern for others, integrity and good citizenship. They will also demonstrate involvement in their school in activities or athletics, and a commitment to volunteerism in the broader community.

He really loved the kids. He would worry and fret about them all weekend until he could get back to school on Monday. He often was in contact with the principal at the school as well. There were just lots and lots of home calls from students and parents. He really cared about the kids; he was just an overgrown kid himself. It’s kind of like he never grew up. He said, “I’ve gone to school my whole life, and I’m still going to school.” Makes us feel good to be able to give back, just the feeling that you get. Jan was always giving back.
