To provide an annual scholarship award to a flute student to attend camp, take private lessons, purchase a flute or attend college studying music with an emphasis on flute.

From the fundholder:

Pam Rowe was one of the leading flutists in the area. She attended the University of Michigan and performed with the Midland Symphony Orchestra, the Midland Concert Band, Midland Community Orchestra, Midland Music Society, the Saginaw Eddy Concert Band, and the professional flute quartet, Flutee. She also had her own private flute studio where she taught several hundred students over the years. This scholarship was established in her memory to provide an opportunity for outstanding and worthy flute students in the tri-city area to further their flute education or help them purchase a new instrument.
