Neighborhood Gathering / Chippewa Lane Neighborhood / September 25 / 2PM

Our neighborhood plans to gather on Sunday afternoon, September 25, and enjoy food and time to visit with one another.

Getting to know and spending time with our neighbors helps us build a sense of community. Helping our neighbors was very important as our neighborhood had to evacuate and nearly every house dealt with flooding in 2020. We want to continue to build strong connections and look for ways to support and help one another.

Neighboring Week Lattes for Access to Recreation / Midland Coffee Shops / September 26-October 2

Eight local coffee shops are collaborating to support Access to Recreation during Neighboring Week. Participating shops are: Biggby Coffee, Crepes et Amis, Live Oak, Stranded, Boomerang, Mi Element and Grove Tea Lounge.

What brings people together better than coffee and tea? In our opinion, nothing! Our businesses may be viewed as competitors, but together we make Midland a better place one cup at a time. Locally owned and operated, each of these locations is committed to serving the neighbors of Midland. We are boldly moving forward, together, to fulfill Midland’s vision of “Together. Forward. Bold. An exceptional place where everyone thrives.” Our honoree this year, Access to Recreation, was selected as they strive to provide enhanced universal recreation access for everyone, including those with disabilities.
