Operational Grants Available : Apply Now
Grants will be awarded up to a maximum of $5,000 depending on the need of the organization, the size of their administration/operating budget and the direct impact they have on providing basic needs to those in our community.
Grant application deadlines are: April 1, 2010, July 1, 2010 and October 1, 2010. The grants will be reviewed by a community review team and a face to face interview will be part of the grant review process. Applicants will be notified of the status of their request within 30 days of the application deadline.

Administration and Operational Grant Guidelines
The grant application process is meant to be efficient and effective. There is no grant application form. To apply please provide the following information as well as any other information you feel applicable:
1) A narrative describing funding needs including the amount of your request. Included in your narrative, we ask you to answer the following questions. What cost cutting measures you have already implemented? What programs could be impacted if funding isn’t received? Who will be impacted and what steps have you identified to address your operational shortfall for next year?
2) A copy of your current operating budget and budget projections
3) A copy of your 2009 audited financials if available or your most recent

Submit your grant information packet to the Midland Area Community Foundation, 2010 Operational Grants Fund, 76 Ashman Circle, Midland, MI 48640 before the grants deadline outlined above.
