About MACF

Doug Wright

Doug joined MACF in July, 2017 in the role of Career and College Access coordinator. He holds a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications from the University of Florida, and master’s degrees from Indiana University and the University of Arkansas. His responsibilities include overseeing the Career and College Access network to help students of all ages overcome barriers they face to pursuing postsecondary education. He has spent most of his professional career in the public schools, serving as both a teacher and a counselor. He is married to Terri, and has three children, Allie, Evan and Will.

Favorite things

Doug likes spending time at the smoker with big pieces of meat, woodworking, watching college football with his sons, and spending time with his family.

Favorite thing(s) to do in Midland County

Doug’s favorite things to do are watching performances at the Midland Center for the Arts and attending his children’s activities, concerts, and sporting events.
