Peele Family Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund #00576

Provides an annual, nonrenewable scholarship to a student athlete who demonstrates financial need and who graduates from a high school in the city of Midland in the year of the award.

From the fundholder:

As a big believer in education Ruth created the scholarship in her husband and son’s names in an effort to suport education. After spending time in countries where there was no education, she wanted to make sure it was available to people in this country, here in Midland. Believing there was a need, she wanted to help, to send people to college.
