To provide a scholarship award to Midland or Gladwin County residents who meet the following criteria: a) special education paraprofessionals or Para-educators pursuing a teaching degree in Special Education, or b) graduating high school seniors, college or graduate students pursuing a teaching degree in Special Education. Preference will first be given to paraprofessionals or Para-educators or to other individuals who have demonstrated the compassion and commitment required to work with and help Special Education students. Previous recipients may reapply.
