To provide an annual scholarship award to a Midland or Gladwin County high school graduating senior, graduate, or resident who is pursuing a degree or certificate in packaging science or materials management. If there are no packaging science/material management applicants that year, the scholarship would instead be awarded to a student who is pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing. Preference is given to a student or resident with financial need.
