Susan Olney Cozat Endowed Scholarship Fund #00471

This fund provides an annual scholarship award to a Midland or Gladwin County woman whose education has been delayed or interrupted and is pursuing any post-secondary education. Preference will be given to single mothers who have underage children living with them and have financial need. Previous recipients may reapply.

From the fundholder:

Years ago, when I was financially struggling, single mother with four children, two of my children received scholarships from the MACF. I was a single mother, working full time and attending college full time. I have been blessed with my career and my education has served me well. I believe I have an obligation to give.
