Juneteenth Block Party

The Juneteenth Block Party was founded by, planned by, and is owned by community volunteers.
It is supported by donations and sponsor dollars held in a project fund at the Midland Area Community Foundation.

Friday, June 19, 2026, from 6:00 – 8:30pm at Creative 360.

Join us for a day of joy, reflection, and community as we celebrate Juneteenth, commemorating freedom and the rich cultural heritage of African Americans. All are welcome as we share free food, music, family activities, and time in community.

Join us for a day of community, fun, and reflection as we honor the past and understand the present. We welcome everyone to join us in honoring the legacy of Juneteenth and to learn more about the ongoing struggle for racial justice and equality.

The annual block party features a variety of family-friendly activities and entertainment, including live music, dance performances, art displays, and food vendors. There will also be educational workshops and interactive exhibits that explore the history and significance of Juneteenth, as well as current issues facing the Black community.

The event is organized by a dedicated team of volunteers who are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all attendees. We strive to create a sense of community and togetherness.
