Sue McKinley and Alan Williams Endowed Scholarship Fund #00180

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide an annual scholarship award to a graduate of a Midland County high school who is attending either the University of Michigan or Michigan State University pursuing study in Chemistry, physics, mathematics, engineering or pre-medical. Preference will be given to individuals with a high school grade point average of 3.5 or greater and those who have financial need.

From the Fundholder:

“We were both chemists by training with interesting and enjoyable lifelong careers in the chemical industry. We created this scholarship fund to help students pursuing careers in the sciences. Our goal is to encourage these students to develop the capability and skills, as trained scientists, to solve a variety of technical problems and challenges facing this country.”
