Provide financial support to college students seeking academic degrees in the chemical sciences at college and university in the state of Michigan. The Section’s area is Midland, Bay, Saginaw, Gratiot and Isabella Counties as of this writing, but may be expanded. Eligible students will be those majoring in a chemical science who are entering the sophomore, junior or senior level of study and are a high school graduate from the section’s geographical area. The requirements for receiving a scholarship will be based on academic achievement and potential for contributions to the chemical sciences.
