To provide an annual scholarship award to a female student attending Michigan Technological University and is a member of the Alpha Delta Alpha Sorority with a preference to applicants of Midland and Gladwin Counties.

Unfortunately there is no great story to be told for this scholarship. The sorority had been giving scholarships for a number of years but the alumni complained about donating because their donations were not tax deductible. I saw the opportunity to create a scholarship fund with MACF where the donations could be tax deductible. There is probably no need to have anything on the scholarship at this point as I am still an active alumni with the sorority.
