Midland Area Community Foundation Thanks Community for Record-Breaking Give Local Midland

The Midland Area Community Foundation is proud to announce that this year’s Give Local Midland was the most successful in the event’s 11-year history. Thanks to the generosity of 835 donors, 2,129 gifts were made to support 82 local nonprofit endowment funds, setting a record for both nonprofit endowment fund participation and dollars raised.

Give Local Midland 2025 brought in $518,644, surpassing all previous years and underscoring the power of collective giving to strengthen and sustain local nonprofits for generations to come.

“Give Local Midland is more than a fundraiser. It’s a celebration of community generosity and the vital work our nonprofit partners do daily,” said Sharon Mortensen, President and CEO of the Midland Area Community Foundation. “We are deeply grateful to every donor who chose to give where they live, investing in long-term transformation for Midland County.”

The giving day featured a lineup of prize opportunities and incentives, with nonprofit endowments awarded $3,000 in prizes and a share of over $70,000 in matching funds contributed by the Foundation and many generous donors.
