Thank you for giving where you live during 2023’s Give Local Midland! We proudly announce that Give Local Midland, the Midland Area Community Foundation’s 24-hour giving day held May 2, raised over $472,000 through donations, a matching pool, and prizes. In its 10th year, Give Local Midland has surpassed $3 million in total impact.
Thank you for supporting this important annual event and sharing it with others. Your donations play a vital role in creating long-term transformation through the efforts of our nonprofit partners in the Midland area. Give Local Midland provides a unique opportunity for nonprofits to focus their efforts on building long-term sustainability through their endowment funds held at the Community Foundation. Your support of nonprofit endowment funds helps enrich and improve the quality of life in our community, bringing us closer to our collective goal of creating an exceptional place where everyone thrives.
At the Community Foundation, we believe in the power of collective giving and handle all the administrative details and fees associated with the giving day, meaning that donors’ dollars go even further. A total of 2,227 donations from 1,016 donors were received during the giving day. Gifts ranged from $5 to $10,000, demonstrating that anyone can be a philanthropist.
